Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is also the basis of the federal Section 508 standards. We review the site against these guidelines when we make changes.
What we have done
- Pages use a clear heading structure and descriptive page titles
- All functions can be reached with a keyboard, and a skip link leads straight to the main content
- Form fields have visible labels
- Text and background colors are chosen for readable contrast
- Moving content pauses for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion
